When our Lord sent the apostles out on their mission of evangelization and sharing of the Good News, He told them not to be afraid for He will be with them at all times, even until the end of the ages. Our pioneers came to this rugged and sometimes hostile land in search of a new life for themselves and their children. It was not easy but they laid the foundation for a new generation of people in Saskatchewan, the land of the swift-flowing river.

We continue the legacy of the Byzantine Faith and the hope given to us by our courageous pioneers; we proudly proclaim the works of their hands and we strive to continue to build our lives and the lives of our families and parishioners with the strength of our parish communities, united in peace and love of Christ. Let us always remember the great accomplishments of those who settled this vast land, to strive to do the best we can in helping our communities grow strong in the faith and to always give thanks to the Lord!
